Animals, what are they to us? Are they just mere decorations? Don't their lives matter? Shouldn't they and their lives be worth more than profit? Are they merely trophies to us?

"Only when the last of the animals' horns, tusks, skin, and bones are sold, will mankind realize that money can never buy back our wildlife"

One of the most poached animals in the world is the Elephant where each year 20,000 elephants are killed for their ivory tusks which are then used in the production of different accessories. The Rhinoceros, one of the toughest and robust animals in the animal kingdom are slowly depleting in number due to the poaching activities that target their horns in which will be used for the production of medicine in Asian countries due to the mistaken belief that it can cure Cancer and hangover. Within the depths of the tropic's rivers and swamps, and in the trees that dangle, there lie the Crocodile and Snake or, in the eyes of poachers, purses and shoes. And, in the midst of the snow-capped mountains in the Arctics, Polar bears and Seals get killed for their hide that will then be used as rugs and decorations. Many more species of animals suffer day by day and a lot are on the verge of extinction.

"No one in the world needs an elephant tusk but an elephant"

Animals shouldn't be reduced to bags, purses, jewelry, souvenirs, rugs, clothing, and medicine because they are more than that. Animals are living, breathing beings, they are walking pieces of history-with billions of years' worth of evolution carved and engraved into their entire being.
